Alexia Pores
actor training, redefined
Hi, I’m Alexia—Juilliard Drama Group 51. I completed my training at 22 and lived in New York City, where I auditioned and worked in the professional theatre world.
Now based in Florida, I’m passionate about helping others—whether auditioning for school, performing in a play, or stepping into public speaking—find clarity, confidence, and purpose in their voice. I guide students in choosing audition material, rehearsing with intention, and understanding what to expect in the audition room so they can walk in prepared and grounded.
My approach is rooted in helping you overcome fear, shame, or self-doubt and step into your calling with humility, courage, and creativity.
Whether you’re preparing for a stage or speaking from your heart, I’m here to support your growth in both craft and confidence. You were made to thrive—let’s bring your voice forward.

My Background
-
Most of my training kicks in here, and I spent four years in a conservatory. Most of my classmates were older than I, and I learned to show up even when the days were hard. We did Shakespeare, classics, ballroom dancing, voice lessons, and movies. I graduated in 2022.
-
I don’t come from a family of artists. Deciding to go to arts school for high school was a huge leap of faith. I performed in many plays and learned how to identify the kind of work I like! It was here I learned to love auditioing.
-
I wanted to fall in love with the craft again, so I auditioned for a classical program in Oxford, England, and spent a month there learning scene study, seeing shows in London, and working on voice and speech!
-
A 10 week course in film acting!
-
Bob is an excellent film coach and teacher. I returned to his masterclass 3 times to learn skills for the screen and industry.
-
This is where I met my acting mentor, Kevin Kittle, whom I still work with today. I spent a month at Rutgers learning the Meisner technique for actors, movement, and scene study.
-
ArtsBridge prepares high school students for acting conservatory auditions. Here, I met teachers from Carnegie Mellon, Minnesota State University, Rutgers, and UNCSA, and I gained a better view of the type of program that would be good for me.
-
I received further coaching for college auditions. I worked on monologues, and my coach happened to be a graduate of The Juilliard School!
-
I auditioned for about 25 schools, most of them being at unifieds. I stayed at the Palmer Hotel and went from room to room sharing my pieces: Portia from Julius Caesar and Katherine from A View From the Bridge. My song was a Greek folk song called Makrinitsa. I learned how to be composed in a highly stressful situation.
